The Role of AI Technologies in the Daily Life of the Best Digital Mobile Bank

On July 4th, the largest technology conference in the country, Change Inspire, was held for the sixth time, organized by HT Solutions and supported by the Bank of Georgia. Change Inspire annually provides an opportunity for technology-interested professionals and newcomers to share practices from internationally successful companies and learn about the latest trends in the industry.
This year’s conference theme was Artificial Intelligence – the AI Champions League. The event was opened by the CEO of HT Solutions, Nino Gvazava, who stated: “Artificial intelligence will make mistakes that humans would never make, but will discover things that humanity could never uncover.”
The Bank of Georgia has been integrating artificial intelligence into its business and operational processes for years. In 2024, it was awarded as the best digital bank in the most prestigious competition in the financial sector, Global Finance, and this year won in 18 categories related to AI.
At the conference, eight experienced speakers from the Bank of Georgia shared the company’s vision and practices regarding artificial intelligence.
Vaia Mantua, the IT director of the Bank of Georgia, spoke on the importance of adapting to the changes brought by artificial intelligence: “Our goal is to respond to every new requirement as quickly and efficiently as possible.”
Mikheil Nadarashvili, the bank's chief analyst, noted that the AI revolution is changing all sectors and we must consider the challenges of sustainability.
Edgar Brutian, head of analytical projects, emphasized that the role of humans in the future will not disappear.
Nino Sasania, head of the data engineering team, spoke about the challenges of structuring data, which is one of the biggest issues today.
Alexander Khordaladze, an expert analyst at the Bank of Georgia, introduced an AI code reviewer that helps programmers improve their code.
Giorgi Merkviladze, head of technology products at the Bank of Georgia, discussed the role of the Enterprise Data Repository.
Remember, customer support is a crucial process for the Bank of Georgia.
The themes presented by the speakers reflected the AI transformation of the Bank of Georgia, and we can expect many innovations in the future.
